Nonna Handmade presented its unique fashion details in the Fashion accessories section at the Belgrade Fashion Week. Handmade belts, purses and vests were presented to the Belgrade audience.

WIPO, Geneva World Intellectual Property Organization – Traditional knowledge and skills

Nonna Handmade is the proud representative of the Republic of Serbia in the Traditional Knowledge and Skills program of the World Organization for the Protection of Intellectual Property – WIPO. The education program gathers representatives from 32 countries of the world and Nonna Handmade is in the group for the Baltic and Southeast European countries.

“The great knowledge we acquire through working with mentors and through the education of the WIPO Traditional Knowledge program, which lasts a year, will bring us a more competitive product, but also expanded knowledge about the importance of protecting IP through the work we deal with, which is the protection of the national cultural intangible heritage” – said Slađana Milojević, founder of Nonna Handmade, which is a family business.

In cooperation with CANSEE and at the invitation of the HER Ambassador of Canada, who hosted a gathering dedicated to women’s entrepreneurship, gender equality, and successful initiatives, Nonna Handmade presented her family company to the distinguished gathering.

Nonna Handmade extended special thanks to HER Ambassador of Canada and CANSEE for the entrenched opportunity to educate the Nonna team through the project Leader Project Ivey Business School of Toronto.

Nonna Handmade nurtures cooperation with Belgrade Fashion Week through connections with artists and young designers. By exchanging knowledge and ideas, Nonna adapts the collection to contemporary requirements by connecting modern and ethnic. At the October Belgrade Fashion Week 2020, Nonna showed a spring-summer 2021 promotional collection called Light.
